How Pillo started

In May 2021, Zach met Craig Vishwesh and Diego Tozzi through League of Legends. What began as playing games together quickly turned into late-night conversations about programming, technology and the things they wanted to build.

The three shared a love of coding, experimenting with new ideas and creating things from scratch, and the same ambition: to start their own company. That led them to start RTRVR in 2021. Zach helped establish the company in South Korea, and what began as a small project between friends eventually evolved into pitcrew Inc. and Pillo Health Inc.

Why medication management

The idea that became Pillo came from a conversation about the founders' families. Zach mentioned that his mother sometimes needed help remembering to take her medications on time, an experience the others recognized in their own families.

The founders realized these weren't problems unique to their families. Millions of people struggle with medication routines, and the people caring for them often carry that responsibility too. They set out to build something free, simple and accessible.

Building Pillo

Before Pillo, the founders spent their time brainstorming ideas, building apps and learning from their mistakes, figuring out what it actually meant to turn a project into a product. After countless experiments, conversations and late nights spent writing code, they built Pillo.

Today Pillo is built by a team of 16 people working to make medication management easier for people and families around the world.
