How Pillo started

In May 2021, Diego met Zach Lee and Craig Vishwesh through League of Legends. What began as playing games together quickly turned into late-night conversations about programming, technology and the things they wanted to build.

The three shared a passion for programming and building software, and the same ambition: to start their own company. Together they started RTRVR in 2021, which eventually evolved into pitcrew Inc. and Pillo Health Inc.

Building the early company

In the beginning, the founders weren't focused on any one industry. They simply wanted to make useful software, and Diego helped build the early company and its projects. Some apps worked, some didn't, and others never made it beyond an early prototype, but every project taught the team something new about development, design and what people actually need.

Creating Pillo

The idea that became Pillo came from a conversation about the founders' families and the everyday challenge of keeping up with medications. The team set out to build something free, simple and accessible, and after countless experiments and late nights spent writing code, they built Pillo.

Diego took part in creating and developing Pillo, which has grown from a project between three friends into a team of 16 people.
