How Pillo started

In May 2021, Craig met Zach Lee and Diego Tozzi through League of Legends. What began as playing games together quickly turned into late-night conversations about programming, technology and the things they wanted to build.

The three found they shared more than an interest in gaming. They all loved coding, experimenting with new ideas and creating things from scratch, and they had the same ambition: to start their own company. That ambition led them to start RTRVR in 2021, the project that eventually evolved into pitcrew Inc. and Pillo Health Inc.

Why medication management

The idea that became Pillo came from a conversation about the founders' families. Craig related to the problem through his grandmother, who was living with Parkinson's disease. Helping her manage everyday routines was something he understood personally, and he knew how much easier life could be for both of them with a simple, dependable way to manage medications.

That experience shaped what the team set out to build: a medication reminder that is free, simple and accessible, something families could comfortably use without needing to understand technology or pay for basic features.

Building Pillo

Before Pillo, the founders built plenty of other apps. Some worked, some didn't, and others never made it beyond an early prototype, but every project taught them something about development, design and what people actually need. After countless experiments, conversations and late nights spent writing code, they built Pillo.

What began as three friends wanting to start a company has grown into a team of 16 people working to make medication management easier for people and families around the world.
